The Indian Archaeological Society publishes an annual bulletin, called PURATATTVA, subtitled as 'The Bulletin of the Indian Archaeological Society' (PBIAS). Each issue contains:

* Research articles, fully illustrated with line drawings, charts, maps and photographs.

* Notes and News, fully documented and illustrated short articles as well as the announcements of new discoveries.

* reviews of books, monographs and other kind of publications.

Society undertakes publication of short as well as comprehensive monographs on different aspects of Indian Archaeology and History.

It organizes periodical Seminars once a year on different topics related to Archaeology.

The Society encourages individual and collective research projects on Indian archaeology and provides facilities for them.


Papers published in Puratattva
